The author of the monograph-Denis Toichkin-is well known not only to a wide range of military historians, researchers in the field of special historical disciplines, but also to museum experts and collectors. His long-term work on the search and identification of weapons monuments, the implementation of their comprehensive source analysis, attribution and study has gained credibility among the scientific community. It should be noted that such weapons studios in Ukraine appear extremely rarely. To date, this is the only synthetic historical weapon. research of long-bladed weapons of the Cossack era.
